Unfortunately painful for some and very gratifying to many others, the painting of BLACK LIVES MATTER on 16th street heading to Pennsylvania Ave is not a bad dream. It is a friendly reminder. The president has made every conceivable effort to discount black lives, but now he and his cohorts will view this DC attribute whenever they lay foot on 16th street.

The next day, the U.S. Park Police said it and other agencies had not used tear gas, but rather smoke canisters and pepper balls.
Trump stood in front of St John’s Church with a Bible in his hand as if he was having a Moses moment and it appears divine providence was his reward. He might rethink any other symbolic gestures with caution. Painting on the street is child’s play compared to the targeted wrath of divine forces incalculable to human understanding. Beware Donald what you mock. Read your Bible.
